Revise and consolidate sounds/names of letters, capital and lower case letter formation.  Revise known blends/introduce extension blends.  Poetry, rhymes and rhyming words. Grammar: capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.  Stories: listen, retell, copy.

 

Mathematics:   

Revise and consolidate numbers to 10, then 20. Addition and subtraction - consolidating number bonds to 10.  Ordering numbers and number games. Money -recognising coins. Revise 2D shapes; introduce 3D shapes.  Time - digital and analogue (o'clock).  Sorting - size, shape and colour.

 

Creative Development:       

Topic related art and craft activities. Christmas-related activities: music, painting, cutting, sticking, etc.
