Hare Hall
Hare Hall is a house and grounds located in Gidea Park. It was built between 1768 and 1769 as a country house for the Wallenger family and since 1921 has housed the Royal Liberty School.
Year 3 visited Hare Hall as part of their Geography syllabus work in which they have to investigate their local environment. The children were shown round by Mr. Watson and listened carefully as he described how the building had been constructed, who had lived there and what it would have been like to live there. A very enjoyable and informative afternoon was had by us all.
