Dear Parents, Families and Friends,

Following the enormous success of last year's LAMDA Examinations, I have once again 'booked' the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) to visit us, as an Examination Centre, on 19th March.

I have been working over the last week's with the children in Year 2 - Year 6, during the course of their weekly Speech and Drama lesson, preparing a Choral Speaking Programme. I propose, with your support, entering each 'class' for a Graded Choral Speaking Examination with LAMDA.  In addition, I will be entering three groups from our School Choir into Group Musical Theatre Examinations.

LAMDA are an internationally renowned Academy and are also an accredited Awarding Body by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA).  The LAMDA examinations are part of the Government's National Qualifications Framework (which includes GCSEs, 'A' Levels, Higher Diploma and Degrees, etc.) and equate with other qualifications in other sectors, i.e., Associated Board Music, Dance, etc.
